“The series Machinations is a comment on the growing suspicion towards information and a growing disillusionment towards our own recording of reality.
I am exploring browsing-culture and social constructs by assembling photographic information slowly and meticulously with pencil on paper. These become frozen moments that are made up of fragmented factoids, but eventually represent narratives as concentrates - similar to a film trailer. I believe this way of working might function as a synergetic mirroring of how we construct our narration of reality, and sense of self.”
